What we refer to as ABCs vitamins in skincare are the important vitamins your skin needs to thrive. A combination of these three will honestly change your life and make you appreciate your skin some more. Vitamins play a huge role in improving skin texture. Apart from the regular cleanse, moisturize and sunscreen here are some important vitamins you could incorporate in your regimen.

Vitamin A—— A powerful skin renewal vitamin that most people would describe as a holy grail. It’s generally referred to as a retinol. It tackles hyperpigmentation, acne and also helps to reduce sighs of aging by increasing cellular turnover and stimulating collagen production. Continuous use of vitamin A can help to even out the skin tone and give you brighter, clearer skin.
It’s used only at night hence why most night time lotions contain retinol. Remember when using retinol you always have to wear sunscreen because it makes your skin sensitive to the sun.

Vitamin B3—- Our favorite vitamin B is also known as niacinamide. Niacinamide can be referred to as the skins BFF. This is because it works well with other skincare actives without causing irritation. It helps to control sebum production which makes it very good for oily skin. It is soothing and helps to strengthen skin barrier.
Niacinamide when combined with vitamin A and C works really well to get rid of acne and acne scars.

Vitamin C— Contrary to popular opinion, vitamin C should be used during the day. It’s an antioxidant that mops up free radicals. It works well with brightening the skin and evens out skin tone. It also increases collagen production.
Vitamin C gives your skin a youthful glow.

Now you know the ABCs of vitamins in skincare, hope you’ll incorporate these into your regimen.

Love,
Pristine.
